Monday Morning Grounding
Would you believe me if I told you I hated meditation for YEARS before finally committing to the practice? It's true...
I was someone who struggled to sit still. As soon as I attempted to quiet my mind, thoughts flooded in. I found it difficult to control my breath.
I finally experienced the benefits of meditation when I committed to it for a period of five days. By the fifth day, I noticed it was easier to take slow, steady breaths. I also noticed I was more likely to redirect my attention to my breath when thoughts seemed to creep in.
If you’re a beginner, I recommend leaning into the three tips below. Commit to five minutes of meditation for a period of five days and you, too, will see an improvement.
